Robustness

Thames Side load cells are very accurate and durable, constructed to last for many years. Manufactured in stainless steel, they are fully welded and hermetically sealed with IP68 or IP69K protection ratings. The Polyurethane cable provides excellent protection against chemicals, UV radiation, rodents and damage from cuts or impacts.

Moreover, the mounting kits are extremely resistant, protecting against lift-off, overload, wind loads, side loads, end loads, seismic loads and vibrations. It allows the correct forces to be transmitted to the load cell despite temperature fluctuations, mixing torques and inherent vibrations.

T66 Series: Bending Beam Load Cell

This fully welded stainless steel bending beam load cell is hermetically sealed to IP68 / IP69K and can be used in the harshest industrial environments. It is suitable for weighing platforms, bag fillers, belt weighers and tank weighing in the Food Processing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and general Bulk Handling industries.

T85 Series: Shear Beam Load Cell

This stainless steel shear beam load cell is available with approval according to OIML R60 Class C3 (3000 divisions) and is calibrated in mV/V/Ω by output current matching, which minimises corner correction time on multi-cell systems.

T95 Series: Tension Load Cell

The T95 tension stainless steel load cell is most suitable for high accuracy applications where movement or vibration is present, e.g. mixers, agitators, catalyst vessels, weighing platforms, axle weighers and vehicle weigh-in-motion (WIM) systems. The T95 load cell is also available with ATEX and IECEx approval certification for all gas and dust zones. Barriers are not required for use in gas zone 2 or dust zones 20, 21, 22.
